In The Mind Beneath
Below the threshold of consciousness lies the subconscious, the basement of our collective world. Dark and chaotic, the entrance is heavily obscured by over-growth and rusted thought. Inside, the documentation of our lives is cataloged for long-term storage. Among the crooked stacks of boxes lie the remnants of withered conversations, recordings long forgotten. The detritus of pain coats the floor, the wearied paths of footprints a reminder of the inevitable truth. Along each path is a witness, the gatekeeper to a memory expelled from this world and captured on canvas.
